At Tura Travel, we design tailor-made trips that connect with the essence of South America. With a local base and over 20 years of experience, we offer authentic, responsible, and personalized experiences in Peru, Bolivia, and Ecuador.
Explore South America’s most sought-after destinations with our featured tours. Each trip is carefully designed to offer you an authentic, safe, and enriching experience.
We recommend traveling during the dry season, which runs from May to October. This is the ideal time to enjoy clear skies in the Andes, hike Machu Picchu, and explore the Uyuni Salt Flats without weather disruptions.
Most travelers from Europe, North America, and Latin America do not need a visa for Peru. While Bolivia is also visa-free for most European and South American citizens, US citizens must process a tourist visa to enter Bolivian territory.
Acclimatization is key. Our itineraries are designed to ascend gradually. We recommend drinking plenty of water, resting on your first day, avoiding heavy meals, and hydrating with traditional coca leaf tea.
Our packages do not include round-trip international flights from your home country. We do, however, organize all transportation upon your arrival, including scenic trains, ground transfers, and any cruises mentioned in the itinerary.
This depends on your travel style. We offer relaxed tours that don't require high fitness levels, as well as advanced trekking routes (e.g., Inca Trail or Ausangate). We consult with you to tailor the journey's physical demands to your capabilities.
In Peru, the official currency is the Sol (PEN), and in Bolivia, it's the Boliviano (BOB). We recommend bringing US Dollars in pristine condition to exchange, or using international debit/credit cards for ATM withdrawals.
To provide you with the most authentic connection, we assign specialized local guides in each major city (Cusco, La Paz, Lima). Meanwhile, our tour leader coordinates via 24/7 chat to ensure 100% stress-free transitions between locations.
Absolutely. Our itineraries prioritize traveler safety by exclusively partnering with formal transportation networks and trusted accommodations. We also monitor your journey's integrity continuously throughout your stay.
